40 million online views. 'The comedian women have been waiting for!'
Luisa Omielan is a London based comedian and her first show ‘What Would Beyoncé Do?!’ is considered the most successful debut stand up show to ever come out of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. WWBD?! has toured the world, sold thousands in merchandise and recently been turned into a memoir, published by Penguin Random House.
The follow up show ‘Am I Right Ladies?!’ proved to be equally as successful & has led to Luisa crowdfunding a DVD of the show, filmed at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre and released through her own website.
She is still touring both shows, and also hosts an annual ‘Valentines Party’ in London at the O2 Forum.
Her performances are inspirational, motivational and from the heart. Luisa’s solo shows are like a party but they are social commentary, she discusses everything from sex to mental health, from career insecurity to body image. Bringing serious topics to the surface but making them funny and accessible.
In London, Luisa has had over 20 sell-out runs of both of her solo shows. She’s also toured LA, New York, Singapore, Helsinki, Ireland, Estonia, Toronto and Australia where she was nominated for Best Stand Up Show two years in a row.
