On Wednesday, Luisa Omielan and CatFace Talent took to Birmingham to present ‘Dead Funny’ – a huge benefit gig featuring a number of excellent comedians in aid of Helena’s Hospice Foundation – a charity Luisa has set up in honour of her Mother.

At the prestigious Hippodrome and despite the snowfall,  Sara Pascoe, Ellie Taylor, Iain Stirling, Tez Ilyas, Suzi Ruffell, Dan Nightingale, Darshan and Aaron Twitchen all took to the stage to raise money and awareness for the Foundation.

The second half was opened by Birmingham’s answer to Pitch Perfect – The Uptone Girls. A fantastic line up, for a fantastic cause, raising over £14,000 for the Foundation.
